EAD / CFAH & EAD / CFAX to Celebrate National Women’s Health Week

EAD / CFAH & EAD / CFAX will offer a variety of free classes to celebrate National Women's Health Week.

Elite Athletic Development today announced a series of free health and fitness programs for area residents in support of the 12th annual National Women’s Health Week, Monday, May 9 – Saturday, May 14. Coordinated by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Office on Women’s Health, National Women’s Health Week encourages women to make their health a top priority and take simple steps for a longer, healthier and happier life.

“Many women are so busy shuttling kids to after-school sports and activities, buried in professional obligations, or caring for the needs of others, they dedicate zero time to their own health and fitness needs. Women’s Health Week is a great time for women to move their needs up the ‘to do list’ and make time for themselves,” said Jim Inman, Head Performance Coach, and owner of Elite Athletic Development.

The nationally certified fitness professionals at family owned and operated Elite Athletic Development specialize in high-intensity, constantly varied strength and conditioning workouts for people of all ages, shapes, sizes and fitness levels. EAD also offers nutrition education. That expertise will benefit area women through a slate of free programs to encourage them to improve their physical and mental health. The programs will be offered at Elite Athletic Development – North Arlington Heights / CrossFit Arlington Heights at 12 W. College Drive, and Elite Athletic Development – Downtown Arlington Heights / CrossFit Axis at 43 S. Dunton Avenue.
