Fifty athletes from the EAD Community contributed to the more than $300,000 raised for the Navy SEAL Foundation Saturday, Sept. 3 by completing the “31Heroes” workout.

The  “31Heroes” workout was named for the 31 U.S. special operations troops, most of them Navy SEALs, killed when their military helicopter was shot down in eastern Afghanistan in early August. All funds raised during the workout will be distributed to the affected families. EAD / CFAH / CFAX was one of hundreds of facilities from across the nation and around the world to host the “31 Heroes” workout.

Saturday’s workout challenged teams of two athletes to complete as many rounds as possible in 31 minutes of Barbell Thrusters, Rope Climbs, Box Jumps and 400m Sandbag Runs. Congrats and thanks to the EAD / CFAH / CFAX athletes who completed the workout!
