Training Essentials is the starting point for all athletes new to the Elite Athletic Development / CrossFit Arlington Heights community.

If you have a friend, family member or co-worker who wants to move from watching the CrossFit Games on ESPN to actually training like a CrossFit athlete, send them our way! We will credit your account with three classes for every athlete who you refer and who completes the Training Essentials program.

Winter War of the WODs Registration Now Open.

Registration is now open for the Winter War of the WODs hosted by CrossFit Fire, 500 West Wegner Road, Unit E, McHenry.

The event is a WOD series challenge, and the first of its kind in the ‘burbs. Put your training to the test and throw down with CrossFitters from around the state January 29. The event is free, so registration is limited to the first 30 men and first 30 women. Please note that the WODs will be Rx’d only — no scaling.

CrossFit Games Hit the Airwaves.

You won't see Coach Rory or the athletes who represented the CrossFit Arlington Heights Community at the 2011 CrossFit Games Regionals at Navy Pier on the ESPN coverage (this year!), but the show should be fun viewing anyway.

Roast the root vegetables, toast the coconut, whip the whey and settle in for an evening of watching  the 2011 Reebok CrossFit Games on ESPN2.

The “Deuce” will air the Games Wednesday, Sept. 14, 7 p.m. cst for three consecutive weeks in four, thirty-minute episodes. The episodes will cover every event of the Mens and Womens competition.
